1. ����������� Introductions
2.�������� Tony Noerpel presented the proposed agenda which was accepted.
3.�������� Tony reported that Timothy Wyant changed the name of the reflector to LCCSS.� Gina Faber noted that the domain name lccss.org was available and Timothy was going to see if he could get it for us.
4.�������� We are now an affiliate of the Post Carbon Institute.� There was some discussion about this and what it meant.� But we agreed that Richard George would be the best source for information and indeed this is the topic for his upcoming presentation.
5.�������� By-Laws
Pat Quinn has volunteered to chair the by-laws committee.� David Bailey volunteered to help locate by-laws from an existing group which could be suitably modified.
6.����������� Program
The list of possible and confirmed speakers is given below.
Tony secured the Rust Library auditorium (seats 116) for 7 PM, January 26th, Thursday for the first event featuring Richard and Will Stewart.�

David Bailey and Tony to work on a brochure who, what when where why areas of focus committees, web site, Mary Phillips rewrite. To hand out at the talks.� There was some discussion whether this was too ambitious before Jan 26th but we would do the best we could.

Provide clip boards for sign up and request for info.
Gina has prepared a comprehensive list of organizations to notify regards the LCCSS events.� Ideas for advertising should be conveyed to Gina.� Announcements, sites for posting, etc.� Charles Hinckley to help.
Tony to get abstracts from Richard and Will.
Otto to talk to Jennifer Fulcher on local environmental issues and groups.� Send Jennifer the Post article.� Work 202-566-1183.

Gina asked if we could get a logo designed.� The group took the action to ask various friends and contacts. �
7.����������� Advocacy
Tony discussed his meeting with state senate candidate Mark Herring.
It was agreed that Otto Gut and Timothy Wyant would be the advocacy committee.

David Bailey suggested an Earth day April 22 Saturday have table at somebody�s project.� Conservation Charles brought up the idea of tree planting.� We need more trees.� Parks and rec� Sam Ryburn�s wife is director.� Arbor day.�
Question to Web master can we have a repository for documents from David Bailey. Gina says yes.� Link to post carbon web site.
