The proposed format of the education program would be to combine a solutions speaker with a problem speaker. We would use this format to balance bad news with the positive. Start in January with small local events and perhaps with experience organize a half day conference similar to Roscoe Bartletts energy conference, Oct, 2005.
5. Tony Noerpel mission statement LCCSS1d3
Statement is too long. Otto Gutenson proposed that it should be 10 to 20 words and this was agreed. Dave Milam made a proposal. Will Stewart took the action to incorporate this plus existing material and propose a straw man.
Will Stewart took the action to better define awareness and education. George Kingsley took the action to better define outreach and networking.
6. The name of the organization is too long. Eric Werling made a proposal to include the word partnership and perhaps propose a straw man to the group. Will Stewart took the action to propose a better name. We would then change the name of the email reflector appropriately.
7. Bylaws were tabled. Eric Werling and Tony Noerpel took the action to identify similar groups and learn from them. Perhaps use their by-laws as a template.
8. next meeting Tuesday night 7:30 PM, November 29th, 2005 at Rust Library.
